The Treasures of Mole Valley ONLINE VIA ZOOM

Lecturer: Roger Mendham

Lecture Date: 15 December, 2020

We live in one of the most beautiful parts of the country and this talk takes us on a journey through Mole Valley, highlighting both the built and natural treasures in our area. There are historic buildings, unusual heritage assets as well as some beautiful images of the landscape and the wildlife that surround us. Some of these may be familiar but there are real surprises as Mole Valley is viewed through the perspective of a photographer’s lens.

Irrespective of how long you have lived in the area, there will be something new for you in this richly illustrated talk.

Roger Mendham is a keen and experienced photographer living in Bookham and is currently Vice-President of the Surrey Photographic Association. This talk has evolved from one Roger was invited to create and deliver as Mole Valley’s launch event for the Heritage Open Days 2020 festival. Roger is a regular speaker to U3As, Camera Clubs and other groups as well as being closely involved with The Arts Society.

This talk replaces the cancelled Christmas Dinner and lecture by Bertie Pearce. Bertie has been re-booked for Christmas 2022!
