The Art & History of Bologna and Emilia Romagna, visiting Bologna, Ravenna, Ferrara and Faenza .
Based at the Hotel Internazionale in the heart of Bologna we shall enjoy 5 nights B&B accommodation, with 3 dinners included at local restaurants. Activities include a guided walking tour of Bologna and coach excursions to Ravenna, Ferrara and Faenza. Also included are coach transfers to and from the UK and Italian airports and return flights to Bologna,
In Bologna itself we include entry to its National Art Gallery, the Basilica of San Petronio and the Santo Stefano Complex. In Ravenna we shall visit the Basilica of Sant’Apollinare Nuovo, the Cathedral of San Vital, the Neonian Baptistry and the Basilica of Sant’Apollinare in Classe. Highlights of our excursion to Ferrara include its Cathedral, the Palazzo Schifonia (now a Museum of Ancient Art) and the Palazzo dei Diamanti (now its National Art Gallery). Our half day excursion to Ferrara centres on the Ceramics Museum and historic centre.
The cost for those sharing a room will be £949pp. A single room supplement of £120 applies. Travel insurance and meals other than those specified are not included in the price.
